Rust isnt bad on it, but only cuz its had a lot of work done over the years. Much of it questionable...

that’s super common, that was the only place I had rust in my 68 when restoring it was thanks to the vinyl top. that thing sounds good, has just the right amount a lump. they all have to do that! I even swapped cams in mine to get that right, lol
